Within the topic of Household Finance and Economic Stability researchers at UNISG work on financial decisions of households and their consequences for the economy and economic policy. The recent financial and economic crisis in the US and Europe has demonstrated forcefully that a better understanding of household finance is crucial for macroeconomic and financial stability. The research goal is to improve this understanding by providing scientific results which inform economic policy. We are particularly interested in the following research topics:
